The promoters Dr. P. Sathiya Moorthi has completed Doctorate in Food Technology, having knowledge in developing innovative value added food products and several years experience in food Industries and Mr. P. Ravikumar completed Masters in Microbiology with adequate experience in Finance and Marketing of various value added Food products.
Their passion to enter into the organic food industry started in the year 2003 and together they initiated the business plan & product development by a humble beginning in their bachelor room kitchen in that year. Striving to innovate quality products in the Millets Food industry, they did a lot of exercises towards the development of Fresh & Nutritious Millet Cookies, Millet Snacks, Millet Noodles, Millet Chikkies, Millet Rusk and value added Fruits and Vegetable food products for the period of Six years. They were determined to follow their Quality Policy to maintain 100% genuine ingredients in their Millet products and all their products are made without adding Maida, Baking Powder, Artificial Color, Artificial Flavors and Preservatives and deliver tasty Millet products to their customers.
Like every new startup company, they faced critical challenges to run the company and market the products in the extremely competitive world. Their first year turnover was just INR 2.25 Lakhs with two employees with just 2 main
products in Millets and that too by their own marketing establishing their customer base in Tamilnadu. But today e-Millet brand has become a renowned name for Millet products in India and abroad having three more companies with
the turnover of INR 6 crores Per Annum. With a rapid growth in this industry, the company has 75 direct employees and 500-600 Marketing Agencies all over India for their Millet health products with a wide range of Millet
products of more than 150 varieties In 2010 they developed hand-made millet cookies in a small oven upon the request of a School in Madurai. Initially with a major business volume received from schools, the market expanded to
retail segment. The success story of e-Millet continued further by starting a new company in the name of “Moon Foods” in 2010 for Millet Cookies manufacturing various types of millet cookies. The relentless extraordinary hard
work, dedication and commitment of the promoters of e-Millet, have made them to achieve 45 tons of Millet Cookies per month reaching global market with their wide distribution network channel.
In 2013 they started their second venture “Dr.YES AAR TEAM” for manufacturing of healthy Millet Snacks. This concern was structured by their life partners Mrs.Soundharya Ravi Kumar (Masters in Biotechnology) & Mrs. Priyadharshini SathiyaMoorthi (Masters in Business Administration), and they are producing more than 100 varieties of Traditional healthy snacks.
In 2017 “INDIAN AGRO EXPORTS” emerged newly to cater their Value Added Indian Traditional Food products for Domestic and Export market. Due to the growing awareness in Healthcare in this fast world era, the Tasty & Healthy Snacks in Millet Food products of e-Millet replaces the junk foods and provides a healthy foods for a wealthy life. They have established a good market share including in India, Andaman, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada, Saudi Arabia and other more countries.
